It also has beach volleyball where various tournaments are organized in the summer. Grand Relax Suites is just 1km from Diakopto and the starting point of the historic ‘Cogwheel Railway’.

Zachloritika is a picturesque village west of Diakoptos. The church Agios Charalambos celebrates on February 10. In the center of the village, plane trees await you for a pleasant coolness in the summer, grills and a playground at the old Primary School. The region produces products such as olive oil, oranges, lemons, wine, vegetables, etc.

On the mountain above Zachloritika, there is a cave which is identified with that of Herakles. Descending from Voura towards the sea you meet the Vouraikos river and see the statue of Herakles in a cave.
